Unfortunately the web has evolved into a cold, hard place where sharing links has become forbidden. We operated an affiliate program for almost nine years between 2004 and today, but as of April 20 2013, we regret to have to close the program.
Please remove any links or banners you may have on your site. You are welcomed to keep linking to our site, but we understand if you remove all links. We'll still always appreciate the efforts you put into a once mutually beneficial affiliate link sharing program.
Like the old saying goes "one bad apple spoils the whole bunch" and as such, the growing wave of scammers, spammers and link abusers have motivated the major monolithic search engines to inflict heavy penalties against all sites sharing links. Except those owned by the rich of course.
As you tried to make a small amount of pizza and beer money by posting our links, search engines began their crackdown with the opinion that anyone involved in placing affiliate ads on their site was a bad guy. Ironically, this same search engine runs the largest pay per click advertising program on the planet and as of the first quarter of this year has made 14 BILLION dollars!....in the FIRST QUARTER! UP 31% from the same quarter last year.
In the mean time, your site (and ours) is penalized for trying to help you make a measly 25% commission on a $19.95 sale. Five bucks. But it's OK for them to churn an ad monopoly to make BILLIONS. Total hypocrisy. We understand if you become angry, because we are too. Please don't blame us, we're just following marching orders from the powers that be. Yes, It sucks! Now go grab a beer, you need one!
