The bottom line is who is comes across as more presidential and more of a leader with a plan of action. As a republican, I am disappointed to see how John McCain\'s plans blow like the wind and seems desperate to copy his opponents platform. Palin is downright failin\' and if you haven\'t seen the interviews and debates, go back & watch them. It scares me when she says \"we\'re gonna get in there and shake up Washington\", damn, it\'s shaken up enough already! We don\'t need any more mavericks in Washington.
Like Dennis Hopper says, \"you my friend, you need a plan!\" and that\'s what this country needs, a plan! Not a bunch of desperate maverick mudslinging.

Well, I hate it when someone who seems otherwise reasonable is situationally daft. I have found the level of ignorance about Sarah Palin to be quite stunning. And what I really find puzzling is that regular people, which I assume you to be, don't think that regular people are capable of rising to high office or governing in Washington. So the only people that are capable of federal governance are born into it? You have to be a Bush or Kennedy or Clinton, or have a parent who was in politics?

Bleccchhhhhhh.

If that's why he's shaky, then he belongs in a VA hospital, not the White House.
His running mate is a real joke. And I thought Nancy Pilosi was bad.
Neither candidate impress me much, but I'm switching for the lesser of two weevils (sic). No need for a political debate here, just get out and vote what you feel is best for our country.

Well, maybe he's a little shaky because his "Hanoi Hilton" captors spent a great deal of time hanging him up by his hands and dislocating his shoulders.

If Senator Obama looks good to you, I suggest you use some compressed air to dust off your safety glasses. Your vision ain't what it used to be.

I notice your citation of political gaffes don't include Biden telling a wheelchair-bound politician to "stand up, Chuck" or my esteemed Illinois senator's inability to get through a west coast appearance without derogatory comments about middle Americans inability to get by without bitterly clinging to our guns and religion.

Oh, and the RNC didn't pick McCain. The news media did.
