Aleksi Perälä Born in Parkano, Finland, in 1978. He Has has quickly established himself as an industrial designer working at Helsinki based design agency Muotohiomo. Over the years, Perälä has worked with many international Finnish brands such as iittala, Finlayson, Nokia, Konecranes, Hanna Saren and Alvar Aalto Foundation. The Ote series forms a natural continuation of a design heritage extending back to the Aino Aalto range, created 75 years ago, and the Kartio range, due to celebrate its 50th anniversary next year. The 8 oz and 12 oz tumblers along with the 10 oz all share a modern, stylish and consistent range that meets everyone’s needs, from drinking water, milk, juice to beer and wine. Overall, the Ote series can be compared to a good wine: full-bodied and smooth, rich in nuances, and one that goes well with a number of dishes, both everyday and festive, yet still with a decided character of its own.
