Not Responding – Is Windows IE Wasting Your Time?

   Posted by: admin0    in Commentary

steaming mad over internet explorer lock upsHow many times per day does your Internet Explorer web browser lock up, crash or freeze? Internet Explorer 7 wastes hours of productivity and is hands down the worst piece of software we have ever experienced.
When casually browsing the web, IE 7 lockups every other session. Firefox on the otherhand rarely locks up at all. It kinda makes me wonder what is going on over in Redmond. They produce the operating system, yet they can not produce a stable internet browser. Is this a problem that they are unwilling or unable to fix or perhaps a monopoly designed to hold back competition?

We have tried the new IE 7 Pro browser add-on, but the only thing it appears to do is catch IE when it falls and while it worked fine for a few days, it too eventually bogged down. This problem has been going on for far too long. IE version 8 is on the horizon, but reviews of the beta version provides little promise, as does Vista.

Symptoms of IE crashes include:
1. Hard drive starts chunking & grinding for several minutes while nothing happens.
2. Task Manager > Applications tab shows “Internet Explorer Not Responding”.
3. Entire PC freezes for extended time while it sorts out it’s own mess.
4. The words about:blank appear in the address bar.
5. Utter frustration sets in.

In a world rife with so many other problems, ain’t it great how one company can make you so incredily unproductive? Let’s hear how MS IE problems affect your work day.

Internet Exploper Crash – Is it Just Me?

   Posted by: admin0    in Commentary

Or does Internet Explorer running on XP crash dozens of times per day? My old Windows 98 system never did this…could this be an intentional conspiracy to hobble our productivity? Kinda makes you wonder… Perhaps Big Brother is watching.
I find it mind boggling that MS could be incapable of writing a stable browser for their own operating system, when browsers like Fire Fox run better and are more compliant to standards. The XP OS can not even handle the crash properly. I usually have to invoke the three finger salute to open Task Manager in hopes of getting out of the crashed browser. Lock ups, about:blank page freeze, and error reports galore cut into our daily productivity, causing TRILLIONS of dollars in lost work. What gives?

Luckily, I found a solution that works, Secure IE
Secure IE will vastly improve your browsing experience, and add a extra layer of secirity that Microsoft’s vanilla browser can not provide.
Integrated with McAfee Site Advisor, you can view information on questionable sites allowing you to avoid bad sites. A major advantage is the dramatic increase in browsing speed. Secure IE  first tunes your browser setting for the best performance, then opens 10 simultaneous connection sockets as opposed to MSIE’s 2 socket connection, speeding web surfing by up to 500% on DSL and cable connections. But, by far the biggest advantage is NO MORE BROSWER CRASHES!
