There are many issues in this election that may decide the future direction of our country; either to stay the current course and risk repeating our mistakes or to move forward for a more promising future with a better international image. One thing is for sure, this campaign has provided us with hours of laughter in the form of both outright political gaffs and loads of politcal humor, like the Saturday Night Live parodies of Sarah Palin, performed by Tina Fey. Other gems include the John McCain stump speach as he addresses his constituents as ”My Fellow Prisoners” (Palin’s expression is priceless), was this a chilling flashback from his POW days perhaps? Do we want a guy like this with his shaky finger poised on the button? What was the RNC thinking when they picked these candidates??? If you think things are bad now, and they get in, we’ll need to call Joe the Plumber to unclog their mess. Even for this long time republican, Senator Obama looks better every day.
