With Gas Prices Soaring our of Control, we’ve been cautiously looking at way to improve fuel economy in order to save gas & money. The obvious way is to SLOW DOWN! But even at $3.75/gallon I still see idiots tearing down the road at 80mph in their SUV or pickup truck. My neighbor’s kid just pickup a Cadillac Escalade with a 26 gallon fuel tank. Good thing he still lives at home with Mom & Dad because it’s going to cost about $100 to fill that beast.

So, how else can you increase gas mileage?
The answer is not gas pills, fuel additives or other “snake oil” solutions, they just don’t work.
But we did find a site that claims you can use ordinary water to extend your fuel economy. It’s based on the old science project which demonstrates how electrolysis breaks down water into it’s component gases, two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen. The ingenious device we discovered simply uses your cars electrical system to generate hydrogen gas “on the fly” and injects it into the intake manifold.
The $49.95 plans, which claim to work on 99.9% of cars is a fun tech project that will teach you all about this cool new fuel while extending your cars efficiency by 40 percent!
Wake up! – this is nothing more than a scam! – Please don’t waste your money on these gimmicks.

The only way to really save gas is to SLOW DOWN, Brake Gently, Carpool and drive only when needed.

If so, put down the bottle and step away, although gas prices are getting out of hand, there is some GOOD news to report! Lumber prices are at an all time low! The housing crash has resulted in stock piles of lumber and the lowest prices in years. Now is the perfect opportunity to load up on building materials and add that indoor or outdoor home bar or rec room addition. Here is the best deal on home bar construction plans.
Entertaining at home will help save gas and with the recent rise in grain prices, will help save money from the higher cost of beer at your local tavern. It also keeps you from being liquored up behind the wheel, and that’s a good thing! So, entertaining at home will not only help save gas, it will help increase the value and enjoyment of your home. So get busy! And as always, stay safe & have fun!

Imagine for a moment if the economy took a major turn for the worse, what would you do? What if you HAD to stay home? No more going out to dinner & drinks, no more vacation trips or liesurely afternoon drives and life in in general becomes so expensive, you’d have to tighten your belt & hunker down as you and your family ride out the storm. Think this notion is outlandish? What if gas really does hit four or five dollars per gallon? Things could get ugly, fast!

Let’s not forget about all the other doom and gloom predictions either. The nightly news and even the Discovery Channel is full of signs that perhaps we should be watching more seriously. Global warming, glacial melt, super tsunamis, asteroid impacts, super viruses, terrorism and let’s not forget George W. Bush hinting at World War III. Could it get any worse? If you were forced to stay home, no matter what the circumstance, wouldn’t it be nice to have all the (southern) comforts you need at hand?

Building a home bar, rec room or home theater area is one way to start preparing for the future by reducing your travel costs, saving gas and saving the money you might otherwise spend on expensive drinks and entertainment, freeing up that money for essentials like food and home expenses, and let’s not forget, a home bar built underground in a basement area can double as a protective bunker in tough times. Sure there is a initial cost to building your own family room entertainment area, but consider it an investment in your home that will increase in value.

A basement area is best, but upper levels or your home also serve as great areas for a private place to entertain. Of course basements have the added advantage of protecting you from tornadoes and other potentially deadly events. To take it to the extreme, you could even reinforce the ceiling to provide better protection, add a large walk in pantry for food and beverages. It’s not a far fetched idea to combine a home bar area with a fallout shelter like those of the 1950’s. The bottom line is to be prepared.

Does this mean we should all build bars and become raging alcoholics? No, rather we can preserve happier times by bringing entertainment back inside the home the way it used to be; playing games, watching movies and connecting with family members. Once you begin into building a home bar or theater project, you’ll spend many years not only having fun entertaining, but also “adding flair” to your own private establishment.

So look around you, keep your eye on the news and start thinking about how that empty or unused space in your home, especially those with basements, can be transformed into your new home bar refuge and bunker, shielding you from an increasingly crazy world.

“I’ll tell ya what, when the big one hits, I’ll be relaxing in my home bar”. Order Plans Today – Before it’s too late!

The week before Memorial Day and gas prices continue to soar.
My local station is at $3.44 for regular, but I just paid $3.47 for mid grade to fill up my Goldwing.
It was only $11.50 to fill ‘er up, so I guess I know what I’ll be driving this summer. People will not change their ways until it really hurts, and apparently it does not hurt enough, yet. At what point will drivers slow down, car pool, and plan their trips better? I do it all right now, are you?

The question is, what will you do for fun if gas prices keep going up? Are we all expected to sit home and wait?
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade! If, you have a yard, or an unused space in your home, consider a remodeling project that brings entertainmnet back home.
In the mean time, find the best gas prices in your area.
