| Juke Box, Karaoke and Video Game Console Cabinet Plans | This is really just a glorified computer desk, but it's shape is based on an actual jukebox cabinet combined with the look and feel of our bar plans. You can pull up a barstool, rest your arms on the extended front "rail" and set your drink (on a coaster please) on the flat work surface. A touch screen monitor serves as the user interface, just like at the bar!
The "guts" consist of a Pentium 4 Class PC, 200Gb hard drive, Flat Screen LCD monitor (recently upgraded to a touch screen monitor) and a 300 watt Dolby 5.1 Home Theater which includes a 120 watt sub woofer. I can't tell the difference between the sound of this unit and an actual factory built jukebox. In fact, this one sounds better!
With a $2.00 Y-adapter from Radio Shack, you can pipe the optically isolated digital output signal to another receiver/amplifier, filling your entire home entertainment area with tunes.
This is one project you will want to build to compliment your home bar & rec-room.
