Laminated Bar Top | Bar Top Laminate | "I had a real good time making this bar, and I am speaking for anyone out there that has never worked with wood before when I say that it wasn't hard and it was very rewarding. The plans are very detailed, and the encouragement to go out on your own and be more creative were wonderful. I surprised myself with the way the laminate bar top turned out, and was happy with the way the extra trim on the front of the bar and the molding above the beer well turned out. When we move out of this house, I think I am going to leave this bar there, so I can build a new one and try to add more to it. All my friends and I thank you very much for the help!!!!!"

    | "We refinished our basement and I really wanted to build a nice bar. Looked for months for plans on-line, but didn't find anything I liked. Your plans were great, easy, and it only took me a weekend to complete the project. I adapted your designs to fit my 12 foot space, and added a two tap draft tower. Broke it in with a party a couple of weeks ago and people loved it (they couldn't believe I built it myself). My problem is now I keep looking for ways to improve it. It's a perfect complement to our pool room. Thanks again!" Bill G - Braintree, MA |

    | | "Hi Guy's, I just wanted to share these pictures with you of my bar. I purchased the plans off your web-site and here is the result. When I tell you I have never made anything in my life, I am not kidding. I had never used a table saw or a circular saw before I took on this project. I found your plans to be very easy to follow. Once I got to the finish part of the bar, trim, top, etc...., I felt a little more comfortable and I used some different types of material. As you can see I bought piece of Formica for the top and I used sheets of Oak for the front and sides of the bar. I have since gone out and purchased a compound miter saw, circular saw, jig saw, cordless drill and many other tools for my next project. Since the bar came out so good, my wife now has many projects for me to attempt. I just wanted to share these with you and thank you for making these plans so easy for a beginner like me. Thanks guys".
Jeff D.- Springfield, MA | | | "I used your bar plan and modified it a little to make it an "L" Bar. The trim is a solid piece of 4x4 cedar that I cut out a 3in. square to make a one piece "L" shaped edge. The top is plywood that I torched. I thought it gave it a nice look. Please feel free to place these photos on your web site". Thanks! S. Scott - McKinney, Texas | |
"Great plans, great fun. The L-adaptation was easy. I highly recommend these plans to even the most novice of craftsmen".
