11/30/09 at 08:19You are correct sam3062. Not hard, although I took a different approach than you mention above. Simply cut shelves to length and then miter cut them at 45 deg and built a frame for it and glued teh joints. Also added sides to the ends of the bar and screwed the sides into each step for added support. No issues 3 years after adding them. Used premium grade pine boards for the steps.
