Just finished the lower bar and am considering some different options for the top. Really found the plans usefull in designing my bar. Made a 45 degree angled bar for my basement that is currently being finished. I will post some construction pics soon. But my question is on the Envirotex. Do you trim out the top of the bar first to create a lip that actually dams off the liquid as it is poured on. Otherwise I assume it would run off the edges. And how thick do you pour it on. I assume you would have to figure this out to know how high to leave the trim to contain the liquid. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

      first time on the board!

Yes you are correct that’s how it works. The box or web site I thought mentioned about how thick / pour you can go ? Most important though is to seal the seam between your bar top and the trim. If you don’t you’ll have low spots where the envirotex ran out. Use matching colour of wood filler or even urethane etc… to seal the entire seam.
Also, the torch seemed to work better at removing trapped air bubbles after the pour.
