I can’t find anywhere in the plans where it says to double up on 3/4″ base floor, yet the cut list has a quantity of 2 for the 82″x 22″ cut. I can’t imagine you would need more than one 3/4″ piece on the base floor, but I don’t want to mess something up.

    Thanks in advance for answering.

You’re right, it’s only one…not sure how that slipped by and you’re the first to report it. Thanks.

It has been corrected in the CHBD parts list.
The plans doc should read 1, not 2.

Always better to have more than not enough.
Be sure you insulate under the floor too!

      ;)

      Thanks for the response!

I absolutely insulated under the floor, with pink as well as great stuff. One question: Is there any reason I can’t make the keg box 38″ long and adjust the corner frame (make it a tad longer)? Only concern I have is if the fridge (2.7 CF) will cool that big of a box, but the 3 PC fans should help that cause. The reason is the “padded” quarter barrels are 17″ and I plan on putting a double tapper in.

I’m sure I’ll be fine as long as it’s sealed and insulated good and the air is circulating, but I thought I’d ask here as well.
