confused sizing EHBP-09

im cofused on sizing this plan, not using it as an actual kegger just rails for dj equipment.

dont have the room for this full size bar but love the shape
confused says the b section cant be resized and im not sure why noy

Plans can be “nominally” resized, not infinitely resized. The B section is not resizable simply because any resizing would complicate the angles and distort the intended shape of the B section. This section is intended to be fixed in size with the leg section A and C resizable to fit available space.

What many people do when modifying this design is to either eliminate either the A or C leg completely or add simple “wings: using the framing method demonstrated in the plans. Take a look through the gallery for some great examples.

So you’re saying I cannot simply shorten the straight lengths to shorten 1 leg of this section B? How does that affect the angles? I want to use this shape, but need to reduce the overall depth. I would like to shorten the 48.75 length on page 6 of the plan to around 30″
