I am about to start building my bar and am considering Envirotex on the top. However, back in my fraternity days we made a bar top using a poured coating similar to (may have been) Envirotex. After several years of use in an area void of natural light, the top yellowed pretty severely. Has anyone had any of this yellowing problem with Envirotex?

      Thanks in advance.

        eh:

No, I think that may have been a varnish based product.
Envirotex is an epoxy and it should not yellow.
After 10 years. mine is still crystal clear.

If my memory is still there ? Was there not something about it not being for exterior use ? Perhaps direct UV light may affect it over time, my bar is in front of a south facing window; but have not seen yellowing as of yet. Maybe indirect or diffused light is not a problem ?
