I’m using Famowood Glaze Coat – a two part Epoxy Resin that I think is pretty much the same thing as Envirotex. The instructions say to ensure the surface is free from oil, dust and wax. However, I rubbed Boiled Linseed Oil (BLO) over my entire bar to bring out the shimmer in the cherry.
Will the BLO stop the Glaze Coat from sticking or curing? I’m really worried that this might not take.
I really can’t answer that…I’d say no, but you’d have to try a small sample spot. If you did this already, did it work?
