I have an L-shaped glass block bar 8′ on the long side with the “L” being 3′. It is just a wall at this point with the open-end butting into a wall. There are no tops or cabinets at this point.

I want to add a narrow wrapping style top but I do not know how to adhere the top to the glass. I would like to keep it open for easy access to the cabinets that will be installed below (that will have a full top with sink).

I am new to this, so any help or recommendations are welcomed.

Good question. You probably don’t wand to try and screw down into the blocks from the top . I not sure if you could drill into glass block.
Why not use that plastic track that is used for holding the blocks in alignment and fasten it with the bottom side of your bar top. Then, use silicone or maybe even construction adhesive (in the tube) to adhere the track to the glass blocks.
It may take e few tubes since the blocks have that space that must be filled in to allow a greater surface area contact than just the edges on each side of the block.

Thanks for the idea. Silicone adhesive seems to be the way to go here (couple people suggested this to me as well). I like your idea about utilizing the track with the bar top. Anything to help with supporting the top on this thing is welcomed. I may secure the one-end to the wall for a little bit of extra support. Heck, if I can figure out how to install a lighted dancefloor in my bar, this project should be a snap!
