I have attached the osb onto the base with screws. I was wondering what do I use to attach the oak vaneer to the osb?

I found the answer in the builders tips documents. Is pl200 the best choice or would another adhesive work as well? Anyone have any preferences.

The only problem with thicker glues of this sort, is they are harder the smooth out. with vaneer, its going to show every little bump, dip, ect. unless you can get it smoothed out very well. With that being said as well I would make sure I had all the screws filled in with with something as well, say Durhams Rockhard or some sort of harder putty. I think if I were to use vaneer, I would go with just carpenters glue or maybe Gorilla glue, easier to work with.

by the way how thick is the veneer your using? Guess I should have asked that first. of course if you are using 3/4 ya use the heavy stuff. Guess I was thinking vaneer the thin 1/16th. may be off base.
