Keg-o-rater – vs – built in box keg???

Before I start building I currently have a keg-o-rater and wanted to get some info about just putting a keg-o-rater inside rather then building the unit inside. Would this be as easy as I think it would be. Providing that the unit would fit into the opening. Im just wanting some info before I make any final desisions about the design I go with. Any info would be appreciated.

Exactly what I’m looking at doing. I’m building a triple tap with room for 2 half-barrels and a 6th barrel, plus room for glass chilling, and I’m concerned about keeping it cool enough with a “home brewed” solution.

So my plan is to build the bar around one of these low-profile back bar coolers:
