Hello,
I am attempting the combo bar project and was just wondering how important the shelves are in the back bar base for stability and structure.
I am hoping to install an under the counter fridge in one of the sides, and thus would need to leave out the shelf to make use of the full space. The middle shelf support would still be there (so there would still be two sides), but the horizontal shelf between the middle shelf support and the side cabinet panel would no longer be there. I was wondering if anyone could tell me whether this is recommended, or if it would weaken the integrity of the base.
