I need to build the party hut this week and joined this site when i saw the party hut thinking i was able to get plans for it. Anyone already build one and could send it to me would be a savior! Or maybe if you could explain how to modify the two L-shaped designs with a 6×6 roofing structure, i would love the help.

P.S. Anyone know when the website is releasing the full design?

      Thanks!

The EHBP-20 Hut section is at : https://www.barplan.com/members/page/plansets/EHBP-20_party_hut/
scroll down mid page and click on the 8 diagrams.

If you want to do a hip roof variation, use the hip roof calculator link below.
That’s how one other member modified his bar.

Oh I was hoping they might have a more in-depth set of plans as they do on the basic L-shaped bar. Is there any way of using the resizing software with it though or a way of finding the total material list?

The EHBP-20 for now is just a guide on how to build the hut portion and only a gabled roof.
The hip roof calculator allows you to set the length and width precisely, so any other resizing tool would be redundant.

keep in mind, check your local building ordinances before you build it. Wind & weather is the biggest concern with tiki huts.
            Use treated lumber!

Am i missing something in the drawings?
How do you mount & support the bar top on a single 2×4 wall that is only 3.5″ thick.

The bar top mounts on top of the 2 x 4 wall. Due to the adjacent corners, you get ‘triangles’ throughout the bar top that stiffen it up substantially.
You can also add support brackets along the customer side of the bar, but since the bar is two layers thick, it probably won’t need them, unless of course a 400lb patron decided to pass out on the bar rail.

i am very upset…the whole reason to get a membership was for the party hut and all it has is 8 basic drawings…what a ripoff…very very disappointed

This site is always evolving and adding new info.
The Party Hut can certainly be built using the initial drawings provided at https://www.barplan.com/bforum/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=798. Several members have already done just that.

This is just bonus material and is not even priced into the membership.

(what a ripoff? it’s bonus material and it even states it’s in development on the sales site at: https://www.barplan.com/homebarplans/EHBP-20_Outdoor_Bar_Gazebo.htm ) 🙄
