I read that we should definately not use the 2.7 cubic foot refrigerator for the keg cooler but….it seems as if the ONLY available refrigerators do not have the external heeting coils. I have check at all the stores in my area and online. Nothing with external heeting coils. All I can find are the flat back design. Question: What exactly is it about the flat-back (internal heating coil) structure that makes them unusable? Is there some ay to modify the newer models? I really want to get my keg cooler working but don’t want to go through all the insulating until I know a little more about the design problem. Can someone please provide some guidance in this area? Thanks.
