On the kegger bar plans, you guys recommend the 2.7 foot Sanyo or Haier fridges. Are there any others that you would recommend?
Just go to WalMart like it says in another post. I picked min up last night for $98.88 + tax. I hate WalMart and never shop there but will do anything to build this Keg Bar.
wow, just fired my kegger fridge up. I did get a used sanyo 2.7 cu. ft. but sad to say I could not find a new one with the coils in the rear. I had to trade a guy for his at work that had the coils on the outside. it seems like the flat/smooth back is the new design. The fridge ran for 2 hours and my box was almost freezing 32 deg. I did install 2 pc fans on the unit one inside blowing over the freezer plate and the other on the back blowing onto the coils. Instead of the pc power supply go to radio shack and buy a 12 volt dc power adapter, cut the end off and splice it into the pc fans and wala nice running fans with no mess. every thing else went smooth except when puting the rear trim and panels on. The plans say to cut to 28.5 inch then they come up 3/4″ short due to the base not extending out past the rear base 2×4. Other than that good luck trying to find the rear coil fridge. Darryl
