Ok so here is the deal. We are finally at the point where in order for us to complete the bar we were putting sports tickets as the bar top. So here is the situation as I am clueless. We have regular plywood on the bar top currently framed out with nice oak as I was going to put stainless steel down, then the tickets then epoxy but come to find out that won’t work. So I am left with regular plywood and a very nice looking framed out bar with oak just the bar top is plywood. Here is my question. How would I put the tickets down without them getting ruined and then protecting the bar with the epoxy or whatever is recommended to “seal” the bar top?? I plan on staining the bar an ebony color to match the rest of the room and floors, put the tickets on and then epoxy but will this work? Or maybe stain, some how put the tickets on the bar, epoxy and then get a custom piece of glass made?
Any help and direction is greatly appreciated. We are stuck
