On our Home Improvement Project Difficulty Index, this project would be about a 5 due to the use of Oak. You can substitute softer woods if you like.
There are no difficult table saw cuts required and all boards are dimensional lumber to keep things Easy! One site that copies our "Easy" concept tries to pass their plans along as "Easy to Use" but after reviewing their plans, they sure aren't "Easy to Build". How to build a home beer Kegerator style tapper system:
This plan includes details for a built in refrigerated keg box which will hold a 1/4 or pony barrel of beer and the complete easy to follow instructions for installing a tap tower and CO2 pressurization to keep your beer fresh for weeks.
A 1/2 will fit too, but it's requires a low profile Sankey tap.
Save money buying beer in bulk, just don't tell your friends you have
cold beer on tap! There is also an L-shaped version of this plan
that comfortable fits a 1/2 barrel with the standard Sankey tap.
