Chicago Cubs Sports Bar

Cubs Inspired Home Bar Project

This beautiful tribute the Wrigley Field and the Chicago Cubs scores a home run in our sports bar category! It was built by one creative Chicago Cubs fan and site member Kent M. The design follows the EHBP-09 45-degree corner bar in framing, sheeting, and bar top. The builder went all out with an entire Cubs baseball theme and an awesome shadow box on top.

Tour the Outfield

The bartender side drink prep counter includes a detailed Cubs logo made from 1″ colored tile squares. The backsplash features Wrigley Field’s famous ivy-covered outfield wall complete with distance markers (better visible in the video below).  The shadow box-style bar top displays signed team memorabilia. Featured items include an autographed home plate, “halved” baseballs, mini bats, and cards all sealed safely forever in six layers of liquid epoxy resin. The home plate looks to be signed by Cubs Hall of Famer Ryne “Ryno” Sandberg.

Inspirational Design

This is truly an original Chicago home bar theme. It’s sure to inspire any Cubs fan (or baseball or football fan) on their own home sports bar project. Watch the video below to see the amazing transformation from a boring basement to an amazing sports bar! You can smell the Chicago-style dogs and taste the warm beer already!

The membership site gets you fully illustrated step-by-step instructions to build this 45-degree style bar (decor and tile work not included). Save money and do it right the first time!

Back to the Future!

In 2015, we are witnessing a possible miracle. The comeback of the Cubbies making their run for the World Series. This 2015 comeback was actually predicted in the Back to the Future II movie (not my favorite) 26 years ago in 1989.

Back in 2016

One year later and the Cubs are back in it, so far tied 1-1 in the series. Good Luck Chicago!
UPDATE – They DID IT! The Cubs won the world services for the first time in 100 years!

The Billy Goat Curse – Broken!

The Chicago Cubs have not won a world series since 1908. Some blame failure on the Billy Goat Curse cast by the Billy Goat Tavern owner Billy Sainis. Sainis was kicked out of their last championship game in 1945 along with his goat. While departing he uttered the prophetic words “Them Cubs, they ain’t gonna win no more”.
Break the curse and help the Cubs win the series this year. Build your own version of this Wrigley Field / Chicago Cubs Tribute, you’ll make Harry Caray proud!
