I’m considering the same thing. Home Depot has corrugated metal sheets in the roofing section. They come in about 27 inch widths and lengths of 8, 10, and 12 feet. It runs a little over $1 a foot.

Out here in California, we haven’t got basements, which I believe is the perfect spot for a home bar. I’m trying to adapt portions of various plans into something I can use in the garage when we have parties. I am trying to combine elements of the tailgater, straight, and L-shapped bar plans. I need something I can take apart and store when not in use. When it is being used, I want an L-shaped bar with a working surface. The new wet bar project looks just about right. All it needs is an “L” and to be modular.

Does this sound too complicated?
