They are the two (top and bottom) horizontal wedge supports.
I just verified the measure measurement in CAD. The two boards are 31 1/8″ at their longest point with both ends mitered at 45 degrees as clearly illustrated.
(I did find the error in the CHBD and have corrected part #12’s length from 38.125″ to 31.125″)

Part #52 is floor panel B2 and is shown on page 14 of the plans.
This part should be manually measured and custom fit as shown on page 14. It is not resizable.

I think Lloyd also mentioned the lack of instructions for the foot rest top.
It’s the last thing you do and should be measured by hand.

I think most folks can handle that.

Remember, the plans are a guide…not law.

    Thanks for the feedback!

Sorry, I should have read this first, thank you for the explanation. It all makes sense now. Lloyd

Okay, I will try to explain this better… page 8 of the section parts list shows #12 to be 38 1/8 inches long. on Page nine it says the two wedge supports as shown are listed as #12 on the cut list and then shows on the diagram 31 1/8 for wedge support legs. On page eight it shows # 11 length 39 inches as long legs and resembles the two wedge supports shown on page nine? I do not see wedge support anything for 38 1/8 inches or as # 12. Where am I suppose to see this mysterious # 12?

i’m a little confused with the PDF and cut list. for example board #12 on the cut list is 38 1/8 but clearly in the PDF it’s 31 1/8.
if you consider the 31 1/8 size, how does board #62 (front trim)fit on a 31 1/8 edge if the cut list tells you to cut it at 22 3/4? Am I reading this wrong?

board #66 was too short as well. also it looks flush with the top of the long boards #11 which are 39 inchs. if it should be flush then 8.25 width on the board would be too tall. 39 minus 4.25 depth of the bottom is 34.75, minus the 22.5 supports, leaves 12.25, minus another 4.25 leaves 8 inches. does that sound right?

I love these plans. they are going to look great, no question about it but there does seem to be a few numbers that are off. I suggest you build the base and then pull out the tape measure before you start cutting and wasting wood.

I have the same question???? The plan also does not show in drawing the use of #12 & #52.
