Your bar came out great! Do you have any more pics? I like how you set up the back and wanted to know the height of the shelves and width of the keg compartment.Thank in advance,

January 26, 2005 at 9:49 pm #19564AnonymousInactiveHow did you make your arm rest and out of what material
January 27, 2005 at 1:28 am #19565AnonymousInactiveScott,
I love how that laminate top looks. Where did you buy and how expensive is it?
Thanks,

See the sixth photo from the bottom…
The arm rest is two layers of oak, looks like one 1×4 on the bottom and one 1×6 on the top sandwiched together. The edges are routered to make them nice an smooth. Use either a 1/4″ or 1/2″ round over bit. (scott, any tips?)I will be adding deatils on how to make an arm rail like this in a new section just on Bar Rails, coming soon. It is easier than it looks! But it looks great! and Scott did a great job!
Thanks!

January 7, 2006 at 2:11 am #19794AnonymousGuestRossi,
You built the bar I want! How did you make the beer cooler fit in the bar? Did you need to extend the tower? I want to use your idea add in a couple of small coolers as well for soda and a small collection of wine. No wet bar though. Also where did you find the bar stools?

January 5, 2012 at 11:32 pm #20722mckdelbuMemberAs always, an excellent job Scott!
I like the reverse layout! Many people ask about how difficult it is to lay the bar i=out in reverse…I suspect you had no trouble at all.
BTW – all plans are completely symmetrical, so they can be laid out left or right handed. Maybe some day I’ll take the time to redraw then in reverse, but in the mean time, just use a mirror. LOL!
