Hi
Great Site. I also would like to see some plans for a roof/canopy.
I have seen them with cedar shakes, and they really look niceNovember 9, 2007 at 1:53 am #20085jerrytinMemberHi there…I’m a new Canadian member! So far this site is great!
I’d also like to see a 45 degree angle on one of your bars. I’m in the process of planning for a corner bar, at most 7′ x 7′. Would love to see plans for something like that in the near future!
Thanks.

One of the new modular designs uses more of a cabinet style approach and includes a 45 corner. It may be easier than the frame method.
It should be released soon, but if you look in the gallery, you’ll find a few 45 examples. I’ll try to get some premilinary drawings of the modular design up on the site in a few days.

Thanks.
December 4, 2007 at 4:48 pm #20090AnonymousInactiveGreat site, I’m currently building the bar back, it’s looking good so far. Any future plans for a rounded or U-shaped bar?
March 6, 2008 at 3:36 am #20156AnonymousInactiveI agree with the other post in wanting to see a plan with a 45 degree angle. Possibly a modification to the l shaped bar.

March 14, 2008 at 12:27 am #20164tom_sybeMemberThis may be a request out of the ordinary for a barplan site, but how about a design for a modest sized concession stand? There are a lot of homes adding home theaters now and mine is one of them. I would like to see a short stand of 4-6 feet in length with a portion of the top suitable for holding a 6oz size popcorn popper. Some of the front should have a candy display behind glass with one or two shelves and access from the rear.
Thanks
October 29, 2008 at 12:16 am #20265tmastersMemberI really like your site, and have borrowed several ideas from it. (thank you!)
I am building a “MAN CAVE” – however my room is only 250 sq ft. Due to the size constraints of the room I need to reduce and modify your plans – for the L shaped bar with Kegerator – by the way, your idea and plans of incorporating a mini fridge is nothing less that brilliant. That in itself was worth the price of membership.
We play poker every single Friday night without fail. Again, due to the size of the room, I really don’t want an 84″x44″ table taking up precious real estate the other six days of the week. I think the best way to handle it is to put a 24″ leaf in the middle of it.
I am also thinking it would be cool to build a “lift kit” for the rails, so that when we are not using the table for cards, we can put a 4″ lift kit in, and use it for dice.
And finally, the ability to add an oval insert to convert the table for holding chips, dips, and BBQ when we are watching the game.
The object here, is that everything needs to be modular, so that we don’t have to number the pieces, and storage is simple.
Anyone got any ideas?

January 22, 2009 at 8:42 am #20293krichesMemberIm kind of looking at a simple straight bar that the end connects to the wall and people can use both sides, more like a table i guess but i want the bar look and feel. Im looking for plans for this if you can help.
