    Hi,
I’m going be building the 45 deg bar in my basement and wondering if I should install the vinyl plank flooring before or after I build the bar?

Tried to do some research online, but there doesn’t seem to be a consensus.

    If I build bar first:
    Pros:
    1. I can easily anchor to floor (is that even necessary?) and properly level it
    2. Less worry about damaging floor during construction, staining, etc.
    3. Don’t have to worry about the floating floor shifting around

    Cons:
    1. More effort installing flooring
    2. If anyone (future owners) doesn’t want the bar, they would have to patch or replace floor

Also, would I need either pressure treated wood or some kind of moisture barrier if I build directly on concrete?

    Thanks in advance!
