I’m about to embark on the modular combo bar project…seems pretty straight forward. But here is my question: I’m building this in my basement, and my ceiling height is about 7′ 6″, and the area I want to place it will only allow about a 8′ long bar. I know I can modify the measurements, but I was wondering if the cabinet base/hutch on the bar (part against the wall) should be the full 8′ and then the rest of the bar (L with 45 degree in it) just butts up against the base/hutch, or if this was already accounted for in some way. Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question…I just want to make sure my measurements are correct before I bring out my electrician. Thanks!

        Barry:

The bar end can just butt up to the front of the bar back OR if space allows, to the wall right next to the bar bar.
In you space limited situation, it sound like the first option is best. So, the standard 8′ dimensions should work without any modification.
If you need to trim a bit off, you can use the CHBD to do that.
