I built the L shaped bar, 12′ x 4′. The corner of the arm rest, where the the two sections come together keeps coming apart due to humidity changes. i cant figure out how I should fix this. The bar looks great, but that corners is the bane of my existence. And now that it’s finished, I dont know if I can fix it or if I have to come up with a way to cover the corner. Any help or idea is appreciated.

If you can put it back together why not clean off the old glue best you can then apply more. Drill a couple holes preferably lower than eyesight and add wood screws to help hold corner together. You can then buy the wood plugs to fill the hole on the surface. Once sanded, stained and finished you should hardly notice them. Remember to try and match the plug grain if possible to arm rest to help blend even more.
Did you have a good fit to start with ? I find it hard to belive that the corner once glued would come apart unless the corner was put under great stress after the fact.

You could also use wood dowels to help keep them together. Might be tricky lining the holes up. The Pocket Hole approach might work too. Not sure if a pocket hole jig would help on a 45 angle.
