I have a few bars in my area that have oak flooring on them. Looks real nice. I was wondering if I went with this If I would have to use that big floor stapler you rent, or if you could hand nail it or use a finish trim nailer. No ones going to be walking on it so any thoughts would be appreciated. I am also thinking about tile. I have a neighbor who tiled his bar and it looks really nice. He says he used the glue you would use for the wall tiles instead of thinset. Again, he says no ones walking on it so the glue should be fine. this would save some time and trouble of mixing thinset. His bar is about five years old, and he hasent had any problems with popped tiles or loose ones. You can really knock yourself nuts coming up with ideas, since there are so many options of things you can do.

having a decent amount of experience with flooring I think you would be fine with using a standard nailer. I would be careful about using a finish nailer as the nails are generally a little weaker and the gun is too and you may have issues going through hard wood. as for the tile option, you should be fine using any type of tile adhesive for the reason you said of no one walking on it. HOWEVER, if you plan on having a really good time you amy end up with some women dancing on the bar so keep that in mind 😆 HAPPY DRINKING!

      Cheers!
