I am looking at building the straight kegger, but I want to make it 10ft long. I need some suggestions on the best way to build the bar top since I cant seem to find a piece of plywood that is longer than 8ft. Please let me know if you need any other details from me.

    Thanks in advance.

splice it. Just put a seam in the middle. I suggest a base layer of plywood, then do the top using a package of hardwood flooring.
It makes great bar tops too! You could then cover the flooring with Envirotex Lite for a nice waterproof bar top surface.

I’m actually building the 45 degree bar with one wing 12 feet long. I finished the top with 3/4″ oak plywood, and butted an 8 foot section to the smaller 4 foot section, and filled the seam with a homemade wood filler. I used the fine sawdust from some cuts, mixed with wood glue, and filled the gap at the seam. It came out rather nicely. I mean, it is a seam, and you will see it, but with a nice thick finish of eaither Envirotex or layers of olyurethane, the finished top will be fine.
