I just finished the rectangle that is the outer base, and secured Item 10 to 1. Where am I supposed to fasten the screws for part 5? I can see securing screws from 1 to 5. But what about the two 5’s that’s secure to part 2? Am I supposed to screw them together first? How do they fasten to 10? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated thanks!
See the image below for typical fastener locations – precision is not required, but be sure you offset the second layer fasteners.
You may use 2 1/2″ long drywall screws or nails. If nailing, a power nailer will speed construction.
For tough permanent construction include the use of PL-200 type construction adhesive. Requires caulk gun.
