Have had my kegger bar running for a year and i love it. I do get frustrated with the temp. As it will not go under 37 degrees. I like my beer at about 33 degrees. I currenty have two halves in the unit with three low voltage fans running. Does anyone know or considered relocating the compressor farther away from the unit? I thought maybe it would keep the heat away so hopefully it would stop running 24/7. I just wasnt sure if it could be recharged after it was moved? Thanks

Is one of the fans blowing on the exterior compressor and/or back coil? Mine runs high if my back fan is off.

Another alternative you might want to consider is the new cheap ($79) compact freezer units. They seem to get a lot colder than the compact fridges.

Thanks for responding. I actually have two fans blowing on the exterior, one on the rear compressor and another on the side as it gets warm. Do you have a name/ model number for the freezer unit? Do i utilize it the same way i am using my fridge now? I am guessing there will be no freezer door to remove. So i remove the front door and use my low volt fans to circulate the air and thats it?

One other question, will the ice build up on the inside causing me to shut it down every so often?

Thanks and I love your website!!
