Thinking of doing the 36ga copper top with two part epoxy over the top. Anyone out there do this ?? If so, how was the epoxy process. I see on youtube they use a heat gun to get the bubbles out, looks easy but I’ve never done a epoxy finish ????

First off, Envirotex Lite is the product to use, and it will stick to metal. Be sure you have built up a “wall” all around the perimeter because envirotex stays liquid for a very log time.
I heat gun is fine, but a propane torch works better. Don’t worry, envirotex is not flammable.
