I built my bar 2 years ago and after spending way too much $$ on my neighbors “drinking problems” I decided to go with a kegerator. I fit it into the bar but to do this I had to take off the tower and gasket. I want to attach the tower to the bar top which is granite. I also have a gap of 4 inches between the top of the cooler and the bottom of the granite. What is the best way to get the whole in the granite cut, keep the beer cool coming out of the cooler before it hits the tower and screw the tower into the granite? thanks

As far as cutting a hole in the granite, I would contact a local cabinet maker, installer. They should have the tools to make the hole. They can also advise you on how to fasten the tower. My guess would be to glue in on with something like PL-500.
Keeping the lines cold is easy. Find a cardboard tube about 3-4 inches in diameter. Make sure it is strong. (like a concrete form) Punch a small hole (1/4 inch or so) in the side of the tube. After the lines have been run thru the tube and everything is ready to go, place the tip of a can of expanding foam insulation into the hole and fill. Be very careful when doing this. The foam has a tremendous expansion and can rupture the tube or squeeze off your beer supply line. I would make a second tube and practice with it before filling the tube on the kegerator. Good luck. :)

thanks, I contacted a local granite company and they cut a 2.5inch hole as well as 4 small holes for the screws of the tower. I slide a 2 inch pvc pipe from the fridge up into the tower, used the spray foam to seal it there then did the same from inside the kegerator and then used foil tape to seal the spray foam. It is working great so far and keeps the beer very cold. One keg down in 2 weekends, think of all the savings…
