Hello all. I am new to this site and am very excited to start my new bar. I have finished the rest of the basement myself, and now I’m ready to take on my first bar. I’m planning to slightly modify the L-shaped kegger bar to fit my dimensions (I do not have an interior wall to put the fridge in another room), but I had an epiphany… has anyone thought of putting the fridge in the “wasted” corner of the bar?? You know… the outside corner that is always hard to reach from behind the bar because most people don’t build a corner (45 degree) cabinet door for access. My though is to use this space for the fridge and make the cold area for the keg on one of the legs (kind of like the straight kegger bar design). This would obviously require a few inches behind the fridge for ventilation and probably a couple fans to keep everything cool, but it would be a much better use of space. Before I go ahead and try this, please let me know if I’m missing something, or if I’m completely off my rocker!! 🙄 Any advice is much appreciate. Thanks in advance!!

That’s exactly what I did with mine and it’s working great. I don’t have any pictures up. But I left plenty of space behind the fridge and have one fan.
The box I’ve built around the refridgerator has plenty of room for the keg and CO2 tank plus extras.
