I want to build a 12 1/2′ version of the straight kegger bar. I can easily figure out the new materials list and how to reinforce the framing for the bar top (I’m going to use a 3 inch thick slice of a tree for the bar top). My question is, Has anyone else used a Keggerator for their tap. I have a commercial unit that is 32 3/4″ tall (without the casters) 24″ wide and
29 1/2″ deep. The height does not include the tap tower. I would appreciate any help or suggestions that might be available concerning how to integrate this into the bar.
    Thanx in advance,
    Chuck

not sure how far you have come along since posting in January… but I am in a similar situation as yourself. I am modding the 8 ft straight bar to a kegger bar by using a Kegerator.

If you have already completed this please tell me which kegerator used or at least the dimensions and how the unit is handling being enclosed in a tight space. My biggest worry is that it will overheat, or worse catch fire being on nonstop for (hopefully) years to come in basically a box of wood.

Any input would be great, and if you haven’t got that far with your bar yet, give me a couple weeks and I will help you out… and most importantly get back to building your bar!
