Problems cooling

I have insulated and spray foamed and placed alum. tape over every seam but it will only chill (without a keg) to 47 degrees? I have 2 fans blowing air from outside the freezer over the plate and 2 fans on the coils blowing out. I have the fridge (a 2.7) on high. My goal is to get it to cool to about 36 on a fridge setting of about 6 out of 10. Any thoughts on how to make this work better? I sure don’t want to cut my new bar up to fit in a single kegerator.

    Thanks
    Tom

Hi Tom! Is it a new fridge or an older one? Can you get a picture of your setup? Might be something we can do here…

i would first triple check all your insulation. I had an issue when I first ran my keg box b/c there was one area that looked insulated but leaked cool air. If you know someone with an infrared thermometer those things will find the hot spots and help you save ripping the bar apart. i built a triple keg box (yes I went overboard) and it holds 38 degrees on medium setting on the 2.7 haier firdge. I have 2 fans in ice box, 2 in keg box circulating, and then 2 on coils and 2 more on compressor (not counting fan on power supply). I hope it saves my fridge a littel bit and keeps my b eer cold.

        best of luck!
